METRC to exhibit at worlds largest nanotechnology event
03 February 2010
METRC will be exhibiting again at the worlds largest nanotechnology event in Tokyo later this month. Nano tech 2010, a three day exhibition and conference, showcases cutting-edge advances in nanotechnology research and development from around the world.
Now in its eight year, nano tech 2010 will build on the successes of previous events and promises to be bigger and better than ever. The 2009 event, which METRC also exhibited at, attracted almost 50,000 visitors with over 600 companies and organisations exhibiting. This year, around 40% of exhibitors are expected to be from overseas, indicating that this event has established to be the most important nanotechnology themed exhibition in the world.
Occupying a pod in the United Kingdom pavilion, and supported by UK Trade & Investment, the METRC team aims to build links between companies from across the globe and the soft nanotechnology expertise from academia throughout the North of England.
Simon Butler, who will be leading the METRC team in Tokyo, extended an open invitation for companies to visit the METRC stand. “If you are in Tokyo from 17 – 19 February please feel free to pop by the METRC stand; you will receive a very warm welcome. We will be delighted to show you how companies from around the world have benefited from working with universities from the North of England”.
