Funding scheme launched to help companies to innovate
Funding from METRC designed to help companies to innovate in partnership with universities was formally launched at the Nanotechnology: Delivering Innovation conference in Sheffield on Monday 6 February 2012. The conference, supported by the Nano KTN and Materials KTN, also highlighted six successful research and innovation partnerships instigated by METRC between companies and universities.
Minister launches new forum set to forge innovation between universities and industry
The new Industry innovation Forum (IIF) led by the N8 Research Partnership launches today (31 January 2012) at an event which will bring together senior figures from industry with leading scientists from the northern research intensive universities, with the aim of forging new collaborations and driving innovation, competitive advantage and growth.
